Gas pressure recovery power generation facilities
These environmentally-friendly facilities generate power from pressure energy recovered from city gas.
Overview
With the growing concern over global warming driven by greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, the demand for effective energy solutions is greater than ever. When delivering factory-produced city gas to consumers, governers and other similar tools are often used to gradually reduce gas pressure. Gas pressure recovery power generation facilities make effective use of the energy generated by this pressure difference. These facilities also reduce global environmental impact by using (a) cold and heat produced during power generation and (b) excess heat originating from facility wastewater, exhaust, and other sources. We have so far installed facilities in five locations, for a total power generation capacity of 10, 740 kW.
